SBS's Friday-Saturday drama "Doctor John" has unveiled a new behind-the-scenes clip featuring its lead actors Ji Sung and Lee Se Young!
In the video, the pair can be seen showing great chemistry as they immerse themselves in their characters of two sympathetic doctors who are slowly going to the direction of romance. Even when rehearsing, their actions appear realistic as they concentrate on their parts regardless of the interruptions surrounding them.
In the first scene, Lee Se Young drives the red car down the road that will be used to pick up Ji Sung, but Ji Sung is the one who got it back up to its original spot. A caption was written and reads, "My heart is not the only one that fluttered, right?"
The next scene they filmed was when Lee Se Young protects Ji Sung after she became aware of his rare illness. She shields him from different kinds of dangers, like children and hot drinks.
Lee Se Young got carried away with the situation that she accidentally pinches Ji Sung on his arm to drag him away from the next peril, and so he silently screams in pain. Lee Se Young then rubs his arm to reduce the pain, and they laugh over it.
The two actors then filmed the part where they sat on a park bench and have a serious talk. However, a loud motorcycle passes by, and so the filming paused. Just when they are to resume, the motorcycle comes back and again caused distraction.
Although the lead actors try to become professional and proceed with the recording, Ji Sung jokingly asks, "What will we do about the motorcycle?" causing Lee Se Young to laugh. Despite the interference, the two main casts were able to focus on their acting, and the director is very pleased with their professionalism.
"Doctor John" premiered on July 19 this year, 2019, at 10 p.m. KST, and is available with English subtitles on Viki. The drama is aired every Friday and Saturday at the same as its premiere.
