'Tune In for Love' Sets New Record

Recently, it was announced that the movie "Tune In for Love" starring Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In has set a record for romance films on its opening day.

The said movie already passed a previous record which was held by the film, "A Werewolf Boy" in 2012, starring Park Bo Young and Song Joong Ki, which garnered more than 128,000 moviegoers.

"Tune In for Love," tells the love story of the positive person Hyun Woo which is played by Jung Hae In and the diligent and hard-working Mi Soo which is played by Kim Go Eun. The two always end up meeting each other, however, the timing wasn't always right for them even though both of them keep crossing paths.

The film begins in the year 1994 where Mi Soo was working in a bakery that she inherited from her mother while Hyun Woo was working in a shop. The two accidentally meet and starts to have feelings towards one another. Even though fate was continuously pulling them together, the timing wasn't always in their favor.

"Tune In for Love" is a music-filled melodrama, which contains songs that can trigger emotions and nostalgia. The movie also tells the story of fresh college graduates who are having a hard time with an economic recession because of the Asian financial crisis of 1997. It also tries to captivate the two young adults who keep pushing and doing their best just to overcome the hard times.

"Tune In for Love" was released on August 28, 2019, on Netflix. On the other hand, it has recently announced that the melodrama film, "Tune In for Love" will be released globally in November 2019.
