Famous South Korean actress Yum Jung-ah was born July 28, 1972. Her memorable films include A Tale of Two Sisters (2003), The Big Swindle (2004), The Old Garden (2007), and Cart (2014), as well as the television series Royal Family (2011), and Sky Castle (2018).

It was confirmed this January 8, 2020, from a source from Yum Jung Ah's agency, "Artist Company "told Sports Chosun that actress Yum Jung Ah has confirmed to be part of the cast of director Choi Dong Hoon's new film. And the said filming starts this February 2020.

The actress will be working alongside actors Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, Jo Woo Jin, Honey Lee, and Kim Ui Sung.

Yum Jung Ah has experienced working with director Choi Dong Hoon who will be the director of the upcoming film. His past films "The Big Swindle" and "Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard" are also cast by Yum Jung Ah.

South Korean film director and screenwriter Choi Dong-hoon was born in 1971. He is currently known as one of the most consistently successful directors working in contemporary Korean cinema. Having all of his five films becoming commercial hits -- The Big Swindle attracted 2.12 million viewers, Tazza: The High Rollers at 6.84 million, Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard at 6.13 million, The Thieves at 12.9 million, and Assassination at 12.7 million.

This upcoming film is director Choi Dong Hoon's follow-up to "Assassination," which premiered in the year 2015.

It is also reported that his newest film will be an extension of "Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard" and will be a crime science-fiction film about aliens living in Korea.

Director Choi Dong Hoon was formerly getting ready for a Korean remake of the Hong Kong film titled "Wiretap," but production came to a pause following lead Kim Woo Bin's cancer diagnosis. The director is now beginning to turn his attention to this new project and will begin filming in February.

This film is right now the talk of the town as its cast includes some of the most famous, talented actors and actresses. The cast is being labeled as the Korean "Avengers" and is already gaining a lot of expectations, although the upcoming film is only at its production stage.

The same with "Along with the Gods," both sets of the series will be filmed at the same time and will premiere in 2021. CJ ENM will distribute the film. The company also has shares in production.
