The upcoming film "Time to Hunt" casts showed up together last January 31, 2020 for a press conference for the film's premiere. The new thriller film "Time to Hunt" film is set in a dystopian future experiencing a tragic economic crisis that has reduced most of Korea to a wretched poverty.
And not only that they are inhaling very polluted air, and live in dangerous slums, but they are also unwillingly forced to do drastic crimes just to be able to survive day by day. This movie is starred by Lee Je Hoon, Choi Woo Shik, Ahn Jae Hong, and Park Jung Min. Actor Lee Je-hoon will portray the role of Joon Seok who wants to leave his miserable existence behind, so he decided to make a master crime plan and decided to make three of his friends, played by Choi, Ahn and Park be part of his master plan. However, their plan became more complicated when they are chased by a mysterious man, played by Park Hae-soo.
About portraying his character as Joon Seok, actor Lee Je Hoon shared that he did not experience much difficulty in playing the character. But there were plenty of requests from the director that they will act out the experience of creating a plan and the horror of being hunted as realistically and as authentic as possible.
Ahn Jae Hong added that he wanted to have a different look than he usually do, so he decided to shave his head and bleached his hair and made is skin look rough.
Meanwhile, Choi Woo Sik shared about getting tattoos drawn on him for the film. He said that drawing the tattoo took a long time. He is the youngest among then so he had to make viewers believe that he was friends with the older guys.
Park Jung Min also shared, that it was important for him that he didn't stick out too much in terms of the chemistry of the four of them.
On the other hand, Actor Park Hae Soo, who's character is the hunter in the film explained that since he is the hunter, he mostly filmed at night time. And they are all close friends and he was chasing them on his own. He was really jealous of that.
This is an all star cast and was handled by respected director so it has have raised a high expectations for this film. Not only does the film feature Choi, who is actually one of the Parasite actors who received a lot of awards and not to mention a standing ovation at the recent 2020 SAG awards, but it also reunites director Yoon Sung-hyun and actor Lee Je-hoon, who formerly worked together in the 2011 award-winning film titled "Bleak Night". This film "Time To Hunt "is reported to be Yoon's first film since "Bleak Night".
Lastly, not only that Choi Woo-sik acquired international fame for his role in Parasite, he also appeared in the famous the zombie film Train to Busan.
"Time to Hunt" is scheduled to premiere this February 2020.
