Kim Da Mi is far from a nice and demure character in 'Itaewon Class'. She plays the role of Jo Yi Seo. The actress, showing her dedication to the role, made a major change in her style and acting to make her scenes look more real. Suffice to say that the new drama, along with Park Seo Joon, brings Kim Da Mi's next-level acting skills.

The drama series was first aired last January 31 on JTBC. Still ongoing, everyone is seeing a new Kim Da Mi from her previous role.

The 24-year-old actress graduated from Incheon National University - Department of Performing Arts. She also won the Best Actress - Cheval Noir Award in Montreal's 22nd Fantasia International Film Festival.

The new lead role character in 'Itaewon Class' made a big swift an image from her sweet face, charm and wit. Currently, she portrays a gangster-like, tough woman. She now sports a hairstyle, from her long black hair, a bob cut with an ombre blonde shade at the tips. Her accessories are bold and layered. Kim Da Mi's regular makeup in the series exudes a dark aura - blood red lips and heavy eyeliner, showing her fierce personality.

Jo Yi Seo, a tough, seemingly indifferent woman, gets slapped in the face during a confrontation. It seems as though it doesn't matter if viewers love or develop a strong dislike towards the role she portrays, but it is undeniable that they are intrigued by her.

The fun part of the drama series is a love triangle between her and another lady. They fight the spot to get the attention and interest of lead actor Park Seo Joon, who plays the role of Park Sae Ro-yi. The tenth episode showed how strong character Jo Yi Seo is as she confronts Geun-won. The brat and spoiled as he is who brawl and run after her. Part of the highlight of the scene was when Park Sae Ro-yi rescued her and matched with Geun-won.

JTBC's 'Itaewon Class' is slated to air 16 episodes every Friday and Saturday. It can also be streamed on Netflix.
