Jeon So Min Currently Receiving Treatment Due to Fatigue + May Take Hiatus from “Running Man”

According to industry insiders, South Korean actress Jeon So Min is receiving hospital treatments because she suffered from severe fatigue. They also clarified that her condition is not related to the COVID-19 disease.

Because of having such busy schedules lately, the actress is reportedly suffering from symptoms of heavy fatigue and was advised by her physician to take a rest while receiving her treatments so that she would be better ASAP.

One representative from the SBS's "Running Man" gave an explanation with regards to the reports stated above. He/She said that they believe that the actress is still currently being treated in the hospital. And as of the moment, her attendance in her projects and schedules is still undecided. Jeon So Min may opt to go on with her filming, or she may choose to take a break from her schedules. The show still needs to consult with her company. The SBS's "Running Man" show cannot provide a statement not until they contact her side.

On Thursday, April 2, a representative from the actress' label, Entertainment IAM, informed the media that on Monday, the actress was experiencing some poor health conditions while filming for the variety program and was rushed to the hospital to have a checkup. The actress went through a thorough examination including an MRI scan and she was advised by her doctor to take plenty of rest since she is extremely fatigued. The representative also confirmed that it is surely not COVID-19.

After talking to the "Running Man" production staff and asking for their understanding, it has been decided that Jeon So Min will take a hiatus for the next month.

Jeon So Min was born on April 7, 1986. She was working as a fashion magazine model in her second year of high school before she entered the acting industry. She finished her college from Dongduk Women's University, taking up the major in Broadcasting and Entertainment.

Her acting debut was made in the 2004 MBC sitcom called "Miracle." Then, in the year 2016, she finally made her big screen debut through her film titled "Cinderella." Her very first leading role was in the 2013 MBC television series "Princess Aurora." Through her acting in this series, she gained recognition at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards where she was able to take home the Best New Actress Award.

Fast forward to the year 2017, Jeon So Min, together with comedian and singer Yang Se-chan, became part of the South Korean variety show "Running Man" as a regular cast. Lastly, just this January 2020, the actress published her first book titled "You Can Call Me After a Drink."
