The King: Eternal Monarch, SBS's new Friday-Saturday series, at long last has revealed its marvelous and fantastical story!
This drama is the most recent creation of screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. It focuses on two different worlds wherein one is set in a democratic modern-day South Korea, and the other is an empire from centuries ago governed by one monarch.
One day, Emperor Lee Gon, played by actor Lee Min Ho, discovers a portal between two worlds where he met Jung Tae Eul, played by Kim Go Eun. Both leads will team up to close the entry point between two worlds and to protect the people close to them.
