Jung Il Woo is already confirmed to join JTBC's upcoming romance drama, "Late Night Snack Man and Woman." On April 27, it was also confirmed that Kang Ji Young and Lee Hak Joo are part of the main cast.

The new drama is about a love triangle between a man and a woman who will fight over the same man. The multi-awarded Jung Il Woo, 32, will play as chef Park Jin Sung, who runs the special late-night restaurant bistro72.

Jung Il Woo made his acting debut in the thriller film "The World of Silence" in 2006. His fame began because of his role in "Unstoppable High Kick." His characters from "The Return of Iljimae," "49 Days," "Cool Guys," "Hot Ramen," "Moon Embracing the Sun," and "Cinderella with Four Knights" also fueled his popularity. In 2012, he was the first non-Chinese to be nominated and won the Asia Male Actor Award at Beijing's Huading Awards.

Kang Ji Young, 26, will be taking on the role of the temporary variety show producer, PD Kim Ah Jin. This is her first leading role in a Korean drama and her first domestic promotion after five years.

Kang Ji Young is a former member of the popular Korean girl group KARA. This singer-actress and model was just 14 years old when she joined the band. She departed as soon as her contract expired and pursued studying in London in 2014. In the same year, she signed with Sweet Power, a Japanese talent agency. Under Sony Japan, her second single "Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto" won Platinum by the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan).

Lastly, Lee Hak Joo, 31, will play as a designer, Kang Tae Wan. Before landing a role in the hit drama "The World of The Married," he debuted in the short film Sweet Sorrow (2012) and got his big break in the series "My Love Eun Dong" in 2015. "Oh My Ghostess" (2015), "Squad 38" (2016), and the web drama "Tong: Memories" (2016) are some of the shows he starred in.

Kim Ah Jin is a regular customer of bistro72. She enjoys her life having a drink and eating delicious snacks served here after a tiring day at work. Being passionate about her job, she is desperate as she has been longing to produce her own TV show.

Kim Ah Jin offered chef Park Jin Sung if he could be the host of a cooking variety show (also titled "Late Night Snack Man and Woman"), which he gladly accepted. Meanwhile, the chef is hiding a secret. With his exceptional cooking skills and honest comments, he will be loved by viewers from around the globe.

Luckily, Kim Ah Jin's "Late Night Snack Man and Woman" show became a success right before her contract expires.

Kang Tae Wan will be chef Park Jin Sung stylist during the show. His character is a very famous designer. His transformation is something you should look out for as he is very successful in his career. He seems to be perfect because of his charismatic personality, but nobody knows who he really is on the inside.

Not only will the drama fill our hearts, but it will surely fill our tummies since a variety of mouth-watering food will be shown as well.

"Late Night Snack Man and Woman" is set to premiere on May 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
