OCN held an online press event for the forthcoming action-comedy series "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigations." The lead cast members graced the conference.

Cha Tae Hyun, one of the lead roles, made a comeback this year after taking time off from the industry after he was caught up in a golf gambling controversy in March 2019 with Kim Jun Ho. Their involvement was then exposed to the public, which led them to their suspension from doing any public shows. The severity of this ussie made their programs discontinue, and both actors had to step down.

Moreover, TV show "2 Days & 1 Night'' needed to stop in broadcast and replaced the cast for the 4th season.

At the press interview, Cha Tae Hyun said, "The first thing I want to do is say sorry. I will, once again, adress the fact that I have disappointed a lot of fans due to my improper behavior. Because of this incident, I promise to work even harder to be an actor who is not only good on-screen but who lives with good morals and values."

The actor added, "I am deeply sorry. During my break, I spent a lot of time reflecting and I sincerely regret my actions. I am thankful for the second chance and opportunity given to me."

Then, Cha Tae Hyun was asked regarding his character in the drama series. "I play a detective and I was actually pretty worried because it's my first time playing this kind of character. Although my image is not the same with other detectives who have appeared in OCN, it's a refreshing role that I hope people will love. The director also wanted to show a different side of me, a funnier side through the role of Jin Kang Ho," he answered.

"After I saw the script, I seemed to understand why I was offered the role. I think Jin Kang Ho resembles me a bit like how we both like drinking soda. For the action scenes, we filmed quite a lot, but it also differs from other action scenes you've seen before," the actor went on.

Cha Tae Hyun also shared his thoughts on working with his co-stars, "It's a show about crime investigation, but there were times we couldn't film properly without a good laugh. I hope everyone finds it funny too!"

The actor then talked about a time when he couldn't pronounce correctly and said that it was due to his co-cast member Jung Sang Hoon. "It was because Jung Sang-Hoon's pronunciation was all over the place. It was so funny! The atmosphere on the set is definitely great. It's like were all friends and even family," he shared.

The management and director Kang Hyo Jin expressed their support to Cha Tae Hyun's return. They commented, "Cha Tae Hyun said that he never played a detective role. I cast him because I really wanted to know what it would look like if he did."
