Born in Incheon, South Korea, on August 17, 1993, Yoo Seung Ho is the youngest among three. He also claimed that his family was poor. The young actor finished high school from Baekshin High School in February 2012. After graduating, Yoo Seung ho decided to take a pause from pursuing his college degree to focus more on his acting career.
He first starred as a child actor in the film "The Way Home" in 2002. Following this, he then starred in several television series and movie films as a child and eventually as a teenager.
On March 5, 2013, Yoo served his mandatory military duty as a regular soldier. He reportedly worked in training the recruits. On December 4, 2014, he was discharged from his service and returned to the entertainment industry to continue his career.
After his discharge, Yoo Seung Ho appeared in the music video for Naul's "You From the Same Time" in 2015, marking his first post-military project. Then, he starred in the legal drama "Remember" (2015), historical films "Joseon Magician" (2015) and "Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River" (2016), and the period drama "The Emperor: Owner of the Mask" (2017). Yoo Seung Ho also showcased his versatility in the rom-com series "I'm Not a Robot" (2017) and SBS's "My Strange Hero" (2018).
In 2020, Yoo Seung Ho took on the character of a cop with a supernatural power in the mystery thriller Memorist.
