Uhm Jung Hwa showed her competence both in the comic and action acting in her new movie, "Okay! Madam," directed by Lee Chul-Ha.
"Okay! Madam" is an action-comedy that uncovers a rescue operation beyond the ordinary past of couples, who were caught up in an abduction flight during their first overseas trip.
Uhm Jung Hwa, who has accumulated 30 million viewers from the movie of "Tidal Wave," "Dancing Queen," and "Montage," returns to the screen as a historical comic action character.
In "Dancing Queen," she played the role of a dancing queen who is unable to control her dance instincts as the wife of the mayor of Seoul. Then, in "Miss Wife," she transformed from a successful single lawyer to a mother of two kids.
In "Okay! Madam," she will transform once again from the owner of a Korean restaurant into the only troubleshooter who needs to save her family from abduction.
In particular, Uhm Jung Hwa showed a special affection for the movie, saying, "I was very excited since I received the scenario. I feel like the shooting was so enjoyable that it felt too short."
Director Lee Chul-Ha also praised Uhm Jung Hwa for being "the only actor who has his three conditions: excellent acting ability, infinite affirmation, and beautiful action acting."
Expectations for Uhm Jung Hwa's acting, which will revitalize the film, are high with the unique detailed life acting and comical charm.
"Okay! Madam" is scheduled for release in August.
