South Korea was greatly affected by torrential rains and heavy floods across the regions. It destroyed infrastructure buildings, farms, and made several homeless. Apart from the government's efforts to help the victims, many Korean celebrities also went the extra mile to share their earnings to the relief campaign.

The Korea Disaster Relief Association is the organizing committee responsible for distributing goods and food reliefs to the affected area. They receive donations from different organizations, most notably, from these public figures.

On August 6, Park Shin Hye was reported to have made a generous donation of 100 million won, or approximately 84,000 USD.

The association also revealed that GOT7's Jinyoung donated 20 million won, approximately 16,800 USD, without his agency knowing. The idol-actor did the meaningful deed without a buzz in his intention to help the flood victims.

One of the many celebrities who lent a helping hand is actress Park Bo Young. It was reported on August 10 from News1 that the actress extended a donation of 20 million won, approximately 16,800 USD, to the Hope Bridge National Disaster relief Association. Earlier this year, she also donated 50 million won, or approximately 42,000 USD, for the aid in the prevention of spreading the coronavirus.

Han Hyo Joo, on August 10, also donated all her earnings to her affected hometown. She appeared on tvN's variety show "Hometown Flex" and wished to give all her earnings to the New Life Support Center located in Chungju.

In addition, Chun Woo Hee also made a contribution by donating 10 million won, approximately 8,400 USD, to the same association to help and support the flood victims.

Yoon Se Ah shared on her Instagram account that she made a 10 million donation to the Korea Disaster Relief Association. She made a heartwarming caption, "We're in this together. Stay Strong!"

Since the torrential rains affected the country, more celebrities joined efforts to help. Superstar Song Joong Ki donated 50 million (approximately 41,900 USD), while icon Park Seo Joon donated 100 million won (about 83,800 USD), to the same association.

Ki Eun Sae and Lee Hye Young saw the news and also made their contribution of 10 million won, or around 8,370 USD, each to the same organization.

Fans were amazed and moved upon seeing that their favorite actors and actresses are beautiful inside and out.
