KBS's new weekend drama "Oh! Samkwang Villa" released pictures from the cast's first script reading, which happened in July at KBS building. Everyone showed great chemistry with all smiles as they are ready to give their best.
"Oh! Samkwang Villa" revolves around a place in a small community called Samkwang Villa, managed by Lee Soon Jung. A group of strangers live in one place, and as time goes by, they learn to accept and love one another. The drama wishes to convey the message that human relationship is the best support in times of crisis.
The upcoming drama had 13 lead roles, starring Jin Ki Joo and Lee Jang Woo with their lovable romantic chemistry. Veteran actors Jeon In Hwa, Jung Bo Suk, and Hwang Shin Hye, and also stars like Jin Kyung, Kim Sun Young, In gyo Jin, Han Bo Reum, Jeon Sung Woo, WJSN's Bona, Ryeo Woon, Kim Shi Eun, and Lee Seung Hyung are part of the series.
Jung Bo Suk, to play as Woo Jung Ho, the head family who works in a big company, shared, "In my entire career, this is the funniest script I have ever read." He is the father of Woo Jae Hee, the architect. During the event, the cast frequently broke out into laughter while reading their lines.
Jin Ki Joo and his female lead partner Lee Jang Woo showcased good chemistry. Though the couple had a love and hate relationship, it gives more spice to their romance. Lee Jang Woo as Woo Jae Hee is a meticulous detail-oriented architect. Jin Ko Joo, in character as Lee Bit Chae Woon, aspires to be a textile designer while working in an interior decorating company.
Veteran actors Jeon In Hwa, Jung Bo Suk, and Hwang Shin Hye made their characters alive with their interesting characters. Jeon In Hwa plays as a housekeeper in service for 30 years who always keeps her own feminine style and innocence at work. She has three adult children namely Lee Bit Chae Woon, Lee Hae Deun (WJSN's Bona), and Lee Ra Hoon (Ryeo Woon).
Jin Kyung plays as Jung Min Jae, the wife of Woo Jung Hoo, while actor In Gyo Jin portrays a trot singer who brought laughter to every scene. The youthful and vibrant characters of Bona, Ryoe Woon, and Jeon Sung Woo added passion to the group.
"Oh! Samkwang Villa" will premiere in September replacing the drama "Once Again."
