A new zombie thriller film "#ALIVE" will scare the heck out of you!

If you are more into the thrilling side of Korean films like "Train to Busan" and "Kingdom," then you'll most probably love this film starred by amazing actors, Park Shin Hye and Yoo Ah In. Like many other horror movie fanatics, you'll surely get a kick out of their new movie.

But you know what the best part is? Brace yourselves guys! This Korean zombie film is coming sooner than expected and will grace on our Netflix screens SOON! It is confirmed that Korean Zombie Film "Alive" will have an international release following its theatrical run in South Korea.

Just today, August 25th, through their official Facebook page, Netflix uploaded the 4 minutes and 10 seconds video of the opening scene of the said film.

The caption of the video states, "Here is the ACTUAL opening scene from #Alive, a Korean zombie film starring Park Shin-hye and Yoo Ah-in!!! You're welcome. See what happens next on September 8!"

"#ALIVE" Actors and Actresses

Actor Yoo Ah In is famous for playing diverse characters in Korean films and dramas like "Veteran," "Chicago Typewriter," "Six Flying Dragons," among others. On the other hand, Park Shin Hye is known for her amazing portrayal in "You Are Beautiful," "Pinocchio," and "Memories of the Alhambra."

The two lead stars will portray the character of the neighbors with an exact opposite personalities in the film. Yoo Ah In will play the role of Oh Joon Woo who is an average middle-class boy who's very interested in technology. While, Park Shin Hye's character as Kim Yu-bin is a girl who relies more on the conventional ways of living like using her camping tools and telescopes in order to survive. Other actors joining the lead stars are Jeon Bae Su of "The King Eternal Monarch" and "The Wailing" and Lee Hyun Wook of "Strangers from Hell" and "The Good Detective."

"#ALIVE" Plot

"Alive" will tell the story of Oh Jun-u (Yoo Ah In) and Kim Yu-bin (Park Shin Hye) who are neighbors that are trapped in their respective apartment buildings during an epidemic of a mysterious virus. The said virus brings chaos and wrecks the whole modern-day Seoul turning its victims into zombies. Both Jun-u and Yu-bin are left without access to technology and must fight their way to stay alive, survive and not get infected by the said disease. Surviving proves to be even more difficult when their only way to get information from the outside world is through the news on TV, and from just what they can view from the windows of their apartment.

"#ALIVE" Behind-the-Scenes Crew

The story is based on the 2019 original script "Alone" from Hollywood screenwriter Matt Naylor and the film was helmed by film director Cho Il-hyung.
