As we all know, currently the whole world is suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic and all aspects including the entertainment industry worldwide had been affected.
However, not even this current health crisis can stop the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines - KCC Philippines - from organizing one of its most anticipated annual extravaganzas for the Korean filmmakers. Although this year, everyone's health is the main priority so in order to keep all the K-culture fans' safe while still giving them enjoyment, entertainment with the touch of Korean culture, this year's Korean Film Festival will be held in a different set up.
The usual crowded and packed opening night with the whole-cinema experience, the Korean Film Festival 2020 will be a more intimate set up where everyone gets to experience the event through their cell phones, tablets and televisions through their own homes as it will have its very first online run.
For the span of 21 days, Filipino fans will receive the satisfaction of watching their favorite movies and stars who are now widely known in the country after the highly rated streaming of their dramas such as "Crash Landing on You" and "Itaewon Class". And it's such great news that this year's KFF will be lead by three of Korea's biggest celebrities that have been greatly admired by Filipinos nowadays. They are the SMART Communications endorsers Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, together with the heartthrob Park Seo Joon!
