ANGELs, are you excited? Teen Top member Niel will be making his silver-screen debut this year!
On October 22, Thursdaya, the upcoming South Korean film "Swag" released its first promotional poster, revealing that Niel will be taking on the lead role in the movie.
"Swag" is a music-centered romance movie that following the story of self-absorbed aspring rapper L, rising rookie idol Jay, and genius producer Oh Ji as they chase after love and their dreams of making it big in the cutthroat music industry.
Niel is reportedly going to take the role of L, the self-absorbed aspiring who only thinks of himself. This is quiet the switch from his idol life, as he is Teen Top's main vocalist. Looks like he is ready to show a different side to himself in this film.
The newly released poster of the film shows Niel passionately rapping into a microphone. The caption of the poster reads, "Starting from now, I will show you my own unique music!" The film is self-described as a "stylish music drama", peaking people's interest.
"Swag" is scheduled to be released in December 2020.

Niel is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He is mostly known as a member of Teen Top, and he debuted with the group in 2010. Prior to his debut as an idol, he made his debut as a child actor through the music play "Please". In 2015, Niel debuted as a soloist with the extended play "oNiely". The extended play topped the Gaon Charts upon debut. In 2017, he released his second mini album "Love Affair..."
He returned to acting two years after his debut as an idol in the KBS drama "Do Yu Know Taekwondo?" He is alsoknown for his roles in "Two Weeks" (2013) and "Sweden Laundry" (2014). As a child actor, he acted in "Children's Chorus" (2004), "641 Families", and "Eleventh Mom" (2007).
