South Korean actor Kwon Sang Woo underwent the COVID19 test due to one staff member being tested positive with the virus. The actor's result is confirmed to be NEGATIVE. The actor's label Su Company issued a statement on Dec. 7 expressing that one of the actor's staff, unfortunately, tested positive with COVID19 on Dec. 6. Because of it, the actor was required to undergo COVID19 testing as well.

On Dec. 7, the actor's test result came out, and it was NEGATIVE. However, even though his result came back negative, he will still undergo self-quarantine for the next 14 days for safety precautions and as per state rules. Due to this, the filming for the ongoing SBS drama "Delayed Justice" will be paused and will resume after they have followed all the safety measures.

Su Company added that the employee who tested positive with the virus was not present at the set of "Delayed Justice" but the show's shooting will be suspended for the sake of the cast as well as the staff's safety.

The series involves law and justice and it centers its story on the characters of Park Tae Yong (Kwon Sang Woo) and Park Sam Soo (Bae Sung Woo) who both help people who are wrongly accused.

Kwon Sang Woo's character is Park Tae Yong, who works as a public service lawyer. He was born as the son of an undertaker on an island. His road to becoming a lawyer wasn't typical. After he graduated from high school, he did not go to a university. Later on, he passed the bar exam and became a lawyer. He always wants to achieve justice for those who are falsely accused and empathize with others, especially for all kinds of petty offenders. He experienced a big change in his life when he becomes the first attorney to win a general criminal retrial case.

On the other hand, Bae Sung Woo portrays the character of Park Sam Soo, a reporter who, after finishing school from a university, once worked as a non-permanent employee. However, he became a reporter thanks to his exceptional skills in writing. His focuses on featuring stories that are ignored or passed over by other reporters. He is a soft-hearted person who easily moved to tears.

The director and producer of this drama once shared in a press conference that the story of "Delayed Justice" is actually based on a real story. However, incidents, character's names, and places were changed.

South Korean actor Kwon Sang Woo was born on August 5, 1976. The 44-year-old actor became famous in the entertainment industry through his romantic comedy film "My Tutor Friend," where he portrayed the character of a troublesome high school boy who is tutored by a college student of the same age (starred by actress Kim Ha Neul).

Another series that Kwon Sang Woo starred in was "Stairway to Heaven" which became a massive hit not only in South Korea but overseas as well. The actor was also able to complete his military service long before he became a celebrity.
