Yeo Jin Goo is one of the many Korean actors who is known for his outstanding skills, not just in acting but in different aspects of being an artist.
Before his new drama's -- "Beyond Evil" -- premiere, Yeo Jin Goo shared some precious moments with GQ Korea to talk about his career and what keeps him busy these past few months. There, he flaunted his stunning visuals and impressive fashion style in his latest magazine pictorial.
Another psychological thriller drama is ready to air in the first half of 2021, titled "Beyond Evil," starring Yeo Jin Goo and Shin Ha Kyun. The 22-year-old actor started by sharing some deets about his newest character, saying, "Han Joo Won is a very challenging character to portray, it is the first time that I have played a character like him, where he is an intelligent person, who sees the world through a different realistic perspective."

The "Hotel Del Luna" star also expressed his fun experience in his recent participation in tvN's hit drama "Start-Up" as Jang Young Sil, the Al speaker. He said, "Even though it was just a special cameo, I had a fun experience doing the project. At first, I would speak like a robot, like an Al speaker, and then later on I would try to say things as if I was foreseeing the future."
He also confessed that the director wanted to keep it a secret first to give an exciting vibe to the viewers. The actor said, "People I know heard it and immediately knew that it was me. There were also colleagues who were surprised to find it was me. And, I have this close friend who watched the drama from beginning until the end but didn't recognize that it was me until I appeared in the final episode."
Then, Yeo Jin Goo stated that during his free time, he used to watch videos on YouTube about writing, "I also mentioned this before in one of my interviews, that I do really like poetry. Not reading it, but writing it. I enjoy the concept of listing down the genuine feelings and thoughts that came naturally from time to time. Before, it was scripts that I wanted to write. Since I am working in the industry and as an actor, I tried writing scripts, but it did not turn out the way I wanted it to. Maybe I don't have enough skills in writing long texts, so I begin again, this time with shorter texts, and I started writing poetry."
The heartthrob said that he does not have a specific inspiration while writing, he just writes whenever he feels like. It may be before filming, or just blankly staring at the moon. He will just casually grab a notebook and a pen to write what is on his mind.
When the interviewer asked him how a person can be good at acting, Yeo Jin Goo felt shy at first but humbly answered the question by saying, "I have been into acting for a long time, even though I entered the university, I never had any formal lessons in acting. I just gained it through personal experiences and for me, emotions are very important in acting."
He continued, "Even if you are doing the same scene, you have to show different expressions and emotions. And the more you do it, the more your skills will improve. If you observe the senior actors who have a lot of experiences, they have already honed their skills in bringing out their own method in acting. And if you really dream of being an actor, it is better to start as soon as possible, so that you can have more time and experience a lot of genuine things."
