Among all the 200 applicants who auditioned for the role, Girls' Generation's Tiffany Young was the chosen one to play the character of Roxie Hart in the forthcoming stage play "Chicago."

Production company Seensee Company shared that "Tiffany auditioned and cast to play the role of the main character Roxie Hart in the 21st Anniversary performance of 'Chicago' joining her in the project are Min Kyung Ah and Ivy."
Seensee Company will be hosting the 21st Anniversary performance this 2021; they were also assigned to cast all the roles for the musical through auditions. As results of the audition, Tiffany and Min Kyung Ah were able to overcome the 200 other applicants to play the character of Roxie Hart.
Tiffany Young will be dominating the musical stage again for the first time after almost ten years since she became busy with her career in the industry of music in 2011. Given that she already has a name in the Korean entertainment industry for being part of the famous K-Pop girl group Girls' Generation, the production company further explained that there was no special treatment for Tiffany Young when she auditioned for the role.
Tiffany Proved That She is Perfect for the Role
According to Seensee Company, "Even though Tiffany Young was already a superstar back then, who started as an idol in the K-Pop scene, she has not asked for any kind of consideration that many of the celebrities demand."
The company went on by sharing that Tiffany has made a lot of effort in preparing herself for the role. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old Girls' Generation member also shared her excitement with Seensee Company.
Tiffany expressed "I have always dreamed of becoming a musical actress. And to be honest, Roxie Hart of the popular musical 'Chicago' is one of the Top 3 characters that I really wanted to portray."
As a busy artist who flew back and forth in the United States and in Korea, after hearing that there will be an audition happening for the hit musical play "Chicago," Tiffany immediately got her ticket and traveled back to Korea. After arriving, she went through a two-week self-quarantine before going to the audition.

With her determination to get her dream role, Tiffany made everything possible. The American actress also hopes that the situation will become better so she and the cast can finally meet the audience and the fans of "Chicago" on stage. Meanwhile, stage play actress Min Kyung Ah will also be part of the musical.
