Singer and actor Park Yoo Chun will be returning on the big screen with a new interesting project!
According to a media report on Feb. 18, former TVXQ member Park Yoo Chun will star in an independent film "Devoted to Devil." It will tell the story of a man and various actors who are passionately working in stage plays. The film is said to run for about one hundred minutes.
Park Yoo Chun to Return on the Big Screen after 7 Years
On the same day, a verified source relating to Park Yoo Chun released a statement regarding the news, "Previously, actor Park Yoo Chun has confirmed his leading role in the forthcoming independent film 'Devoted to Evil.'"
After verifying the said announcement, fans of the said artist started to show their support by sharing the news in the online community.
Park Yoo Chun is now set to start a new project in the industry after 7 years. It has been said that "Devoted to Evil" will be his first leading role after his 2014 movie "Haemoo," where he played the role of Dong Sik. In fact, because of his magnificent performance in "Haemoo," Park Yoo Chun received lots of awards as best new actor at the 34th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards in 2014, 51st Daejong Film Awards in 2014, 35th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2014, and in 51st BaekSang Arts Awards in 2015. He also starred in the movie "Lucid Dream" in 2017.

Park Yoo Chun Can Ace Every Work, from Movies to Dramas
Aside from movies, Park Yoo Chun has already done some Korean dramas before. One of his previous projects is the "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" in 2010 as Lee Seon Joon, where he worked with Park Min Young and Song Joong Ki. He once again captured the hearts of the viewers with his role as Prince Lee Kak in the romantic comedy drama "Rooftop Prince." His latest series was "A Girl Who Sees Smells" in 2015.
In addition to his new project, the 34-year-old actor is currently reviewing the script and will be attending a script reading anytime soon. The filming is expected to start on Feb. 22.
After it has been announced that he will be retiring from the entertainment industry in 2019 due to a drug scandal, the former idol has been showing his interest in going back on track by releasing new songs, opening his very own YouTube account, and interacting with fans through sns.
