Korean heartthrob and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" actor Lee Joon Gi renewed his contract with Namoo Actors.
Lee Joon Gi Chooses to Stay as Namoo Actors' Talent
The 38-year-old actor has been in the industry for more than 10 years. Through his successful journey as an actor, his agency has become a huge part of his career. To show his trust and loyalty, Lee Joon Gi decided to renew his contract with Namoo Actors, which has been his home since 2014.
According to Namoo Actors official press release on March 22, "We are very glad to have renewed our contract with the versatile and trustworthy actor Lee Joon Gi. Since we have shared a strong and long-term relationship for almost seven years, trust and faith has become the foundation of our good partnership. Now that he fully trusted us again for his future, we will continue to provide a never-ending support to our loyal and talented actor Lee Joon Gi."
After signing his exclusive contract with Namoo Actors in 2014, Lee Joon Gi's first drama project with them was "Gunman in Joseon" where he played the character of Park Yoon Kang. In 2015 he portrayed the role of Kim Sung Yeol in MBC's "Scholar Who Walks the Night."
Lee Joon Gi's Previous Projects
The actor captured the hearts of the viewers in the 2016 megahit series "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" with his cold-hearted but charismatic character as Wang So. This drama is one of his precious projects, where he worked with some of the most talented actors in the industry, such as Lee Ji Eun a.k.a IU who was his love interest in the drama, Kang Ha Neul, EXO's Baekhyun, Kang Han Na, Nam Joo Hyuk, Girls' Generation's Seohyun, and more.
Lee Joon Gi and IU's chemistry was impactful that fans still wish for the drama's sophomore season.

The actor also starred as Kim Hyun Joon in tvN's "Criminal Minds" in 2017.
Meanwhile, showing a new side of his adorable personality, Lee Joon Gi worked with "It's Okay to Note Be Okay" actress Seo Ye Ji in the legal-comedy-drama "Lawless Lawyer."
Lee Joon Gi's recent drama was in 2020, "Flower of Evil." He portrayed a complex character named Baek Hee Sung, alongside actress Moon Chae Won. Lee Joon Gi had a very outstanding characterization in this series.
Apart from pursuing his passion in acting, Lee Joon Gi is also a good singer. The prominent actor had also won several awards. During the 2016 SBS Drama Awards, together with the "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" team, they received the recognition from Best Couple award, Hanryu Star Award, and Ten Star Award.
