This means more projects like drama, movies, and endorsements for these K-Drama stars who are dominating both global and local scenes.

With that said, let's take a look at the highest-paid Korean actors and actresses and their worth per episode.

Kim Soo-Hyun

Topping off the list is the 33-year-old actor Kim Soo-Hyun.

His charming and boy next door look captivated the hearts of the viewers with his praiseworthy portrayal of Moon Gang Tae in the popular drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" alongside the gorgeous actress ‎Seo Yea-ji.

In a recent report, the four-time Baeksang Arts winner earns home a staggering $600,000 for each episode of his upcoming drama "That Night," which is set to debut in the second half of this year.

This is a massive increase from his previous drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," which is said to be around $240,000 per episode.

Aside from sitting at the top spot of the most bankable K-drama actors, he also earns his million through advertisements, making him one of South Korea's CF kings.

He is currently the face of the famous beauty brand Cosrx.

Jun Ji-Hyun

Landing on the second spot of highest-paid K-Drama celebrities and highest-paid Korean actress is none other than Jun Ji-Hyun.

Since her debut in 1999, the award-winning actress hit the spotlight with her breakthrough movie "My Sassy Girl," which is also considered one of the highest-grossing Korean films of all time.

Following her claim to fame, she appeared in countless drama and blockbuster movies such as the critically acclaimed "Kingdom," "Legend of the Blue Sea, and "The Thieves ."

With her notable roles and projects, the well-loved actress reportedly rakes $120,000 per episode.

The third highest-paid K-Drama celebrity needs further introduction.

Hyun Bin or known as the OG K-drama hunk, stole the hearts of viewers with his role as Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok in the hit 2020 drama "Crash Landing on You" alongside his reel to real-life partner Son Ye-Jin, who played the role of the South Korean heiress, Yoon Se-Ri.

In a report, the Korean heartthrob takes home $113,000 per episode for his upcoming projects this year.

Another OG Oppa that made it on the list is the "Oh My Venus" star So Ji-sub.

With almost two decades in the industry, it's no surprise that the 43-year-old actor is earning $89,800 per episode.

Capping off the top five highest-paid K-Drama celebrities of 2021 is Jo In-sung.

The 39-year-old actor starred in several notable dramas, including "That Winter, The Wind Blows" alongside Song Hye-Kyo and "The Classic opposite "Son Ye-Jin.

With his smash hit series and accolade of achievements, Jo In-sung's paycheque per episode reportedly values at $89,800.
