Known for his brilliant acting in JTBC's hit series Itaewon Class, Ahn Bo Hyun dishes on his upcoming projects this 2021!

Ahn Bo Hyun Talks about His Characters in "Yumi's Cells" and "My Name"

Looking handsome in latest pictorial with Elle Korea, Ahn Bo Hyun shared some sneak peek about his characters in upcoming dramas, Yumi's Cells and My Name.

The Her Private Life star is currently preparing for the drama adaptation of Yumi's Cells, originally a webtoon of the same name.

Ahn Bo Hyun is expected to play as Goo Woong, a forthright game developer. Opposite to him is Goblin actress Kim Go Eun, who is about to portray the role of Yumi, an average office worker who struggles with expressing her feelings.

In the interview with the magazine, Ahn Bo Hyun described how he had been preparing for the role. He shared that he's been doing everything he can to match Goo Woong's physical appearance.

According to him, "Since the drama is adapted from a webtoon, there's a certain joy and fun in acting while trying to look as similar to the original character."

Previously, there were photos released on the online community showing that the drama began its production already.

"Yumi's Cells" and "My Name" Slated to Premiere in the Second Half of 2021

Aside from Yumi's Cells, Ahn Bo Hyun is also set to star in new Netflix series My Name, previously known as Nemesis. In this project, he will be working with The World of the Married and Nevertheless actress Han So Hee and is scheduled to be released anytime this 2021.

The Kairos actor revealed that My Name will most likely be released after Yumi's Cells.

He shared, "To be honest, I am personally looking forward to it because I will be showing a different persona that is opposite to my character in Yumi's Cells."

With his endless potential, it is no doubt that Ahn Bo Hyun could be the next rising star. He also mentioned that while preparing for his projects, the 33-year-old actor is working hard to fulfill his duty as an artist and to deliver remarkable performances.
