A different side of Choi Woo Shik was seen in the latest teaser of his upcoming fan meeting dubbed as "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

Released by Kakao TV, the "Parasite" star transformed from being the South Korean heartthrob to becoming a geeky professor as he invites his fans for a virtual meet-and-greet.

"Underline the "silly" part! If you still don't know? Then on July 5th at 7 pm, come to Woo Sik's 1:1 extracurricular lesson," the caption reads.

In a one-minute and 46-second video, the 31-year-old Korean-Canadian actor turns into a strict yet hilarious-looking instructor donning round glasses while sporting a bright yellow plaid button-down paired with a cream-colored vest and suspenders.

The video began with teacher Choi Woo Sik who started his lecture by coaching the viewers with bizarre word meanings.

This was followed by a charming gesture from the actor, adding "Don't get sick, be healthy, always look at me."

There's no denying that it surely melted the hearts of his legion of fans.

Over the comment sections, netizens lauded how charming and delightful "The Boy Next Door" star was in the teaser clip.

Prior to this, Kakao TV also dropped the main poster for Choi Woo Shik's fan meeting showing his versatility as an actor.

Choi Woo Shik Celebrates 10 Years with "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is Choi Woo Shik's first-ever fan meeting to celebrate his ten years in the entertainment industry.

This is his way of thanking the fans for their support since his debut.

As mentioned above, the upcoming virtual meet and greet will be live-streamed exclusively on Kakao TV on July 5 and will be spearheaded by Kakao Entertainment.

To recall, the management was also behind the successful fan meeting of Park Seo Joon in May as well as Bae Suzy's live show back in January.

Kakao Entertainment PD Kim Dong-il also revealed that the "Train to Busan" star was hands-on with the upcoming events and would contribute ideas to entertain his fans.

"Despite his busy schedule, Choi Woo Shik is pouring out ideas to show fans a variety of charms, and he is passionately preparing for a fan meeting. Please pay a lot of attention to it," he mentioned.

From "Train to Busan" to "Parasite"

For almost ten years in the industry, the South Korean heartthrob has cemented his career with several notable dramas.

The 31-year-old celebrity's claim to fame is his performance in the hit K-zombie movie "Train to Busan" alongside Gong Yoo and Ma Dong Seok.

This was followed by the award-winning film "Okja," where he played the role of Kim.

However, it was the critically acclaimed movie "Parasite" where Choi Woo Shik gained international recognition.

Interestingly, this is his reunion project with director Bong Joon Ho, who also helmed "Okja."
