Actor Ji Chang Wook is dominating the year with his back-to-back projects. He might have another drama to work on in the second half of 2021.
Is "Tell Me Your Wish" Ji Chang Wook's Next Drama Project?
According to an official representative of a known media outlet, Ji Chang Wook will be playing the main character of the new upcoming drama "Tell Me Your Wish."
Ji Chang Wook's agency Glorious Entertainment announced that the "Melting Me Softly" star received an offer to lead the drama "Tell Me Your Wish" and is still reviewing it.
The said series is about the people who dream of "dying-well." It mainly deals with salvation that takes place in a hospice ward and is said to focus on the story of saving adult children who have fallen into swamp together.
The "Lovestruck in the City" star is expected to portray the character of Yoon Gye Re, a person who runs away from death. He is an adult child who has no will or interest to live and struggling to decide where to stand in life, a broken adult child who has become a habit of harming and inflicting pain with tattoos on his body whenever his attachment and will to live arise.
His journey as an adult child will be miserable and the viewers should look forward to the most significant and happy moments of Yoon Gye Re's life event for a short period of time, for it will surely make a big impact to the future audience.
Writer Jo Ryeong Soo will pen the script for "Tell Me Your Wish" and director Kim Yong Wan will helm the drama.
The production team is still in discussion about the scheduled broadcast of the said series but they are already expecting to start filming in the second half of 2021.

It is indeed a busy year for versatile actor Ji Chang Wook. On July 5, he celebrated his 34th birthday and ahead of his special day, the "Backstreet Rookie" star already received some good news. His new thriller movie "Hard Hit" alongside actor Jo Woo Jin is recognized as the one of the highest-grossing films in Korea for this year.
"Hard Hit" became a box office hit for two weeks. Aside from his film, Ji Chang Wook is currently filming his forthcoming Netflix series "The Sound of Magic," alongside rising actor Hwang In Yeop and "Beyond Evil" actress Choi Sung Eun.
Ji Chang Wook's previous drama "Healer" is also confirmed to have a webtoon adaptation.
