Lee Min Ki is confirmed to make a cameo in the upcoming action K-movie "Decibel."
In a new report cited by a local outlet, the "Oh My Ladlylord" star is to have a special appearance and joining the lead casts Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, Lee Jong Suk, and more.
Lee Min Ki To Appear as Navy Captain in K-Movie "Decibel"
Interestingly, the 36-year-old actor has been casted in the new movie through "Decibel" director Hwang In Ho.
To recall, Lee Min Ki starred in his first directorial film "Spellbound" in 2011 that garnered over 3 million audiences.
In the forthcoming action movie, the South Korean star will take on the role of a navy captain.
With this, "Decibel" released a sneak peek featuring the "The Lies Within" actor looking dapper in a blue uniform as he dons a serious expression that raises curiosity as to what kind of activity Lee Min Ki will show in the film.
Decibel Cast, Release, and Synopsis
Back in April, multiple outlets revealed the confirmed lineup of its star-studded cast starring Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, Lee Jong Suk, Park Byung Eun, and Lee Jong Suk, headlining the upcoming action K-movie.
In addition, joining the "Decibel" cast is the "Diary of a Prosecutor" star Lee Sang Hee, Jo Dal Hwan, and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo.
Interestingly, this will be the singer-actor's debut on the silver screen as well as Lee Jong Suk, who will make a grand return to the big screen after his military discharge.
The much-awaited film follows the story of a group of officials that aims to stop a sound terrorism attack after it was discovered at the center of the city.
Their goal is to block the bomb from being activated, which would endanger millions of civilians.
The "Doctors" star will take on the role of Navy commander Kang Do Young while Lee Jong Suk is set to portray the loyal Navy captain.
Jung Sang Hoon will act as Oh Dae Oh, a field reporter who works alongside Navy commander Kang Do Young. In the upcoming movie, he is described as someone who has a soldier-like attitude and is closely monitoring every single detail regarding the case.
Meanwhile, Park Byung Eun will be Defense Security Support Command member Cha Young Han. He is someone who is looking into the purpose behind the terrorism attacks.
On the other hand, Lee Sang Hee and Jo Dal Hwan are set to play the role of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) squad senior officer and the Navy senior officer, while ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo will act as an amateur yet passionate young sailor.
Although no release date has been announced at the moment, "Decibel" began its filming session in late April, where the behind-the-scenes were also shared over Lee Jong Suk's Instagram account.

Apart from his cameo in K-movie "Decibel," Lee Min Ki has two projects coming up this 2022.
After the success of his latest drama "Oh My Ladylord" with Nana, the South Korean hottie is set to lead the cast of JTBC's "My Liberation Diary" with Kim Ji Won, Lee El, and Son Seok Koo.
On the other hand, the 36-year-old actor will also star in the new mystery horror movie "Three Days."
