Actor Yeo Jin Goo might have his much-awaited drama comeback!
Janus Entertainment Confirms that Yeo Jin Goo Received a Casting Offer for Link
On July 13, various media outlets reported that the Hotel Del Luna star is rumored to make his small screen return with the series Link. However, after the news broke out, Yeo Jin Goo's home agency Janus Entertainment released their official statement.
According to them, "It is true that Yeo Jin Goo recently received an offer to star in the upcoming drama 'Link' and he is still positively reviewing the project offer."
Fantasy-romance drama Link will depict the story of a man who experienced unfortunate event in life unexpectedly begins to feel again various emotions because of a woman he met.
Yeo Jin Goo to Potentially Portray the Role of a Chef
Yeo Jin Goo might portray the lead role of a chef named Eun Gye Hoon, who owns a restaurant in a small town where his sister who happens to be his twin went missing years ago.
He was a successful chef before, and even the customers' eyes were glued to his special cooking performances. During a random day, he finds himself experiencing random emotions, candidly laughing and crying, which he found weird because Eun Gye Hoon hasn't experienced those kinds of emotions for a long time since her twin sister had gone missing. Soon, he crossed paths with Noh Da Hyun, a woman who would bring colors into his life.

Moon Ga Young and Yeo Jin Goo as New K-drama Partners?
Earlier this year, True Beauty actress Moon Ga Young also received a casting offer to appear in the series. If she accepts the drama role, Moon Ga Young will play the character of Noh Da Hyun, a lady who is unfortunate in life. But her life will start to change after she meets a man who is just living in her neighborhood. After being together for a couple of times, Noh Da Hyun began to develop special feelings for him.
Start-Up actor Kim Seon Ho was the first one to receive an offer to play the role of Eun Gye Hoon but unfortunately declined the project due to conflict of schedules.
On the other hand, if Moon Ga Young and Yeo Jin Goo accept the drama project, this will be their first time working as onscreen partners.
Writer Kwon Ki Young will pen the script, and director Noh Sang Hoon is expected to helm the new drama project.
