On July 21, production team of MBC's new upcoming romantic comedy drama series "Check The Event" (also known as "Please Check The Event") released its main poster, featuring Girl's Day's Bang Minah, better known mononymously as Minah, and actor Kwon Hwa Woon.
Singer-turned-actress Minah and "Sky Castle" actor Kwon Hwa Woon tell the romantic story of two people who have once loved and lost.

"Check The Event" tells the story of two ex-lovers, Ha Song Yi (Minah) and Do Kyum (Kwon Hwa Woon), who win a couple trip vacation in an event they joined when they were still together.
The ex-lovers decided to go on the trip while pretending to be together and still madly in love with each other.
In the newly-released poster, actors Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon held hands with a bright smile on their faces, the beautiful scenery of the blue sea of Jeju Island behind them.
The picturesque, calm, and solemn scenery adds to the burning curiosity of the viewers' about how Ha Song Yi (Minah) and Do Kyum's (Kwon Hwa Woon) short-lived relationship and unexpected vacation to Jeju Island would be played out.

"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor Ahn Woo Yeon, UP10TION's Lee Jin Hyuk, Nam Kyu Hee, and veteran actors Kim Young Sun and Kim Hee Chang will also be participating in the drama project.
According to the production team, actors Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon show resonance with their respective characters Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyum. "The two people's love and romance will provide excitement and empathy," they said.

MBC's drama "Check The Event" is scheduled to premiere on August 14 and will continue to air once a week during Saturdays at 9:50 p.m.
The production team shared, "I want the viewers to feel as if they are with the characters going on a vacation to Jeju Island together every Saturday night for four weeks."
