On August 6, according to My Daily, "Rooftop Prince" star Park Yoo Chun won the Best Actor Award at the recent Las Vegas Asian Film Award.
The 35-year-old singer-actor impressed the viewers with his excellent performance in the independent film, "Devoted to Evil," released earlier this year. This was his first movie after almost seven years of hiatus.
Since he was involved in a scandal due to drug use in April of 2019, Park Yoo Chun was sentenced to 10 months in prison and two years of probation. The actor also made a public apology for what had happened.
Meanwhile, since he was out of the spotlight for years, the "Miss Ripley" star was looking forward to his retirement from the entertainment industry.
In 2020, it seemed Park Yoo Chun was already committed to producing music and arts.
Then, in January of the same year, he became active again in the entertainment realm, and officially announced he would resume doing solo activities. His first activity was doing a fanmeeting abroad.

Park Yoo Chun already won several Best Actor awards before when he was still active doing dramas. His character synchronization and professionalism onscreen were often praised.

This 2021, Kim Jae Joong and Kim Jun Su were seen being active in the industry as well. In fact, in March 2021, Kim Jun Su was confirmed to make his musical stage return with "Dracula." It has been said that it was his fourth time to be part of the cast.
On the other hand, Kim Jae Joong was reported to potentially make his much-awaited drama return with "Bad Memory Eraser." In July, his agency C-Jes Entertainment confirmed he received an offer to appear in the series.
If Kim Jae Joong accepts the casting offer, "Bad Memory Eraser" marks his first drama after four years. His last Korean drama was in 2017 with KBS' "Manhole."
