Tang Joon Sang Responds to Yoo Ah In's Instagram Post about 'Racket Boys' Finale

Apart from the viewers, award-winning actor Yoo Ah In made it to the headlines after he aired his dismay regarding the postponement of "Racket Boys" episode 16.

To recall, SBS announced that the final episode of the sports drama would be delayed due to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics ceremony.

At the time, the "#Alive" star posted the drama's poster with a caption that reads, "Don't leave the show. I've been waiting for today. Geez!"

His relatable post gained a lot of attention from fans, viewers, and even the "Racket Boys" cast.

When asked about Yoo Ah In's Instagram post, Tang Joon Sang revealed that he felt honored that the A-lister was a fan of their drama.

In addition, he says that the "Chicago Typewriter" star was among the actors that he wants to work with in the future.

"I don't have any personal acquaintances because I've never done a project together, but my heart is that I want to work on a project together."

During the interview, the 17-year-old rising star shared his thoughts on landing two notable k-dramas this year.

Earlier this year, he gained the public's attention after portraying Han Geu Ru, an orphan diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, and works alongside Lee Je Hoon.

It was then followed by another top-rating drama, "Racket Boys," where he portrayed a middle school badminton player named Yoon Hae Kang, who dreams of becoming a professional athlete in the future.

Tang Joon Sang mentioned that it was an "honor" to get the lead role and was "grateful" for the favorable reviews coming from the fans.

"I still can't believe I was able to appear in two works as a lead role this year alone. It is so amazing, honorable, and grateful," he explained, adding that he never even imagined playing the main character in a drama.

With his astounding skills, it is safe to say that the "Crash Landing on You" actor can slay every role he portrays, and speaking of characters, Tang Joon Sang revealed that one of his dream roles is to become a joker.

"I recently saw the Joker. I want to play a role like the Joker. The genre or character I want to play changes depending on the work I've seen recently," the young actor explained.
