Born and raised in India, the Korean-based actor continues to experience massive fame after the survival game-themed series hit a worldwide craze and even topped in 82 countries.

Despite his short stint, Anupam Tripathi's "Descendants of the Sun" cameo made an impact after his character lent his boots to Dr. Kang Mo Yeon after seeing that she was running around the area wearing sandals. Viewers could recognize the South Korean-based Indian actor since he donned a similar hairstyle seen in "Squid Game."
