Lee Seung Gi might return to the small screen in an upcoming series "Supernote."
After the massive success of his mega-hit Kdrama "Mouse," fans will be seeing more of the South Korean hunk who is in talks to appear in a new series.
Lee Seung Gi Courted to Star in New Kdrama' Supernote'
According to SPOTVnews, the "Vagabond" star positively reviews the offer to appear in the Kdrama, helmed by the "Sisyphus: The Myth" director, Jin Hyeok and produced by Taewon Entertainment.
If he accepts the role, he will be working alongside Kwak Do Won, who is also offered to appear in the said series.
Although the reports did not include his possible character, Lee Seung Gi's new Kdrama will start filming in December till April 2022. This means that fans will be hearing more updates in the coming weeks.
Interestingly, "Supernote" focuses on the villain and their stories surrounding high-quality counterfeit bills.
From the looks of it, the actor might portray an antihero character that will showcase his acting prowess as he transforms into his first-ever villain role.

Lee Seung Gi to Return as Host in 'Sing Again 2'
"Supernote" is Lee Seung Gi's next project after taking the role of Jung Ba Reum, the Justice-seeking rookie police officer in "Mouse."
Apart from his upcoming Kdrama, the triple threat is set to make a comeback as host in "Sing Again 2."
It came after the A-lister received a positive and overwhelming response from the viewers for his impressive hosting skills.
In addition to this, he also has his own way of satisfying the audience as well as the contestant with his high level of wit and charm.
With this, the actor also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the audience, saying that he is "delighted" to appear as the host once again.
Moreover, he promised to give the viewers an entertaining show, adding, "I have very high hopes about the amazing talents that will be shown on the show as well as the unexpected emotions."
The JTBC variety show features talented singers who were once forgotten and received the second chance that they deserve to show their skills in singing in front of the crowd.
"Sing Again 2" is set to premiere sometime in December, helmed by "Hurrah for Independence" PD with "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man" CP Yoon Hyun Joon, who is responsible for planning.
Lee Seung Gi Dating Lee Da In
His slew of projects in the coming year comes after the actor and "Alice" actress Lee Da In are confirmed to be dating.
The news was confirmed by their respective agency, saying that the duo became close through their mutual hobby, golf.
