Red Velvet Joy Lives Her Life to the Fullest as a Socialite in 'Only One Person'
JTBC's new melodrama "Only One Person" released the first stills of Red Velvet Joy, who transformed into socialite Sung Mi Do, an influencer who obsessively thinks about what other people think of her.
"Only One Person" follows the story of three terminally ill women who meet unexpectedly, and decide that before they die, they want to take down "only one person." However, their plan backfires as they end up meeting the most valuable person in their lives.
In the drama, Red Velvet Joy stars as Sung Mi Do, a trendy influencer who is unexpectedly diagnosed to be terminally ill.
When she received the diagnosis that she doesn't have enough time to live, she didn't think of herself, instead she thought about what other people would think of her.
She cries in front of her mirror and takes a photo at just the perfect angle before sharing the news that she is terminally ill to her followers. Even when she is sick, she spends a lot of time recording her daily life, from capturing photos of the sunrise to posting her beautiful photos.

'Only One Person' Production Unit On Red Velvet Joy's Casting
The idol singer made her television debut in 2017 with a lead role in tvN's hit series "The Liar and His Lover."
In the following year, Red Velvet Joy was casted in the drama "Tempted" with Kim Min Jae, Woo Do Hwan and Moon Ga Young.
She will diversify her acting roles as she joins the cast of "Only One Person." The production unit of the drama said, "Sung Mi Do is a character who has a tender heart if you look beyond the life she curates on social media."
"She might be annoying at times when she tactlessly says things, but she has charms that you can never hate. Similar to Red Velvet Joy, who has been in the spotlight for years now," they added.
