Park Hee Soon exudes his versatility as an actor as he becomes a terrifying chief inspector in the upcoming movie "The Policeman's Lineage" starring Jo Jin Woong and Choi Woo Shik.

The 51-year-old actor proved to transform into a villain and protagonist with his diverse acting skills.

The award-winning actor recently gained waves following his impressive portrayal of gang leader Choi Moo Jin in Netflix's "My Name" together with Ahn Bo Hyun and Han So Hee.

He wowed the audience with his skills and, of course, his stylish visuals, stimulating the fans' curiosity with the actor.

Park Hee Soon's New Movie After the Blockbuster Hit Series 'My Name'

After the massive success of the action-packed series, Park Hee Soon is set to star in an upcoming crime film by "Wide Awake" director Lee Gyu Man.

Viewers would get to see the other side of the actor as he took on the role of chief inspector Hwang In Ho.

In the recent still cuts, the "Beautiful World" star showcased his character's powerful personality as he sits beside Choi Min Jae, played by Choi Woo Shik.

In the drama, the "Parasite" star was tasked by Hwang In Ho to go undercover in hopes of retrieving files that would link to his father.

Moreover, the chief inspector also gave his junior a special mission to dig for information regarding Park Kang Yoon, portrayed by Jo Jin Woong and his alleged corruption activities.

As cited by a local media outlet, Park Hee Soon shared his thoughts regarding his new movie.

During the production briefing, the 51-year-old actor hints that the film revolves around corruption in the industry while teasing fans with his surprising character saying, "This time, I think I can show you a new side of me because I'm playing a role in catching corruption police."

Apart from the lead stars and Park Hee Soon, "The Policeman's Lineage" cast includes Lee Hyun Wook as ​​team leader Han and Lee Sung Woo as the narcotics investigation leader.

In addition, joining the roster of the talented cast are Kwon Yool, Park Sang Hoon as the young Choi Woo Shik, and "Crash Landing on You" actor Park Myung Hoon.

Fans need not wait that long as "The Policeman's Linage" release date is set for January 2022.

Park Hee Soon's Current Drama 'Dr. Brain'

"The Policeman's Linage" is his comeback to the big screen after the 2019 mystery thriller film "Bank of Seoul."

Aside from his upcoming movie, Park Hee Soon is currently starring in Apple TV+'s series "Dr. Brain," which was based on the hit webtoon.

Directed and written by "A Tale of Two Sisters" PD Kim Jee Woon, the sci-fi thriller follows the story of Go Se Won, a genius scientist who experienced a tragedy alongside his family.

Park hee Soon seems to be booked and busy in the coming year as he is also in talks to headline the cast of Netflix's "Role Model Family" with "Money Heist" star Kim Sung Oh and more.
