Following his successful musical play debut with "Midnight Sun" in May, NU'EST member Baekho is returning on stage for another musical alongside other idol-actors!
NU'EST Baekho Returns with New Musical Play 'Equal'
On December 27, the idol-actor to participate in the upcoming musical play "Equal." His agency, Pledis Entertainment confirmed the news and said that Baekho was cast in the creative musical to play the role of Theo.
"Equal" reflects on today's era with Pandemic and conspiracy theories set in Europe in the 17th century, where witch and hersey hunting were rampant. In addition, it is a two-man play showing the desperate desires and twisted fate of the two friends, Theo and Nicola.
NU'EST Baekho is Theo, a simple and bright rural doctor and a friend who struggles to save Nicola. The story also involves the chemistry between Theo and Nicola.

2PM's Jun.K, Hong Joo Chan, and Kim Jae Hwan Join the 'Equal' Cast
Meanwhile, 2PM's Jun. K, Golden Child's Hong Joo Chan, and Kim Jae Hwan are also confirmed to join the cast. Jun. K will also portray Theo, while Hong Joo Chan and Jung Jae Hwan are expected to immerse themselves in the character of Nicola, a sensitive person who always stays inside the house due to the pandemic.
Baekho made a successful stage play debut in "Midnight Sun" last May. He played the character of Ha Ram and showed great potential as a rookie actor. Baekho showcases his steady vocals and powerful choreography through various stage performances with his members. Meanwhile, through his musicals, the idol-actor continued to transform into an effective and versatile artist who displayed his full potential as a singer and as an actor.
Furthermore, "Equal" is scheduled to start on December 31 and will take place at the Uniflex Hall in Jongno-gu and at the Meta Theater, a known global platform specializing in various stage performances.
Baekho Sings 'Now, We Are Breaking Up' OST 'Forevermore'
Baekho is the third NU'EST member to pursue a career in acting. His fellow members Hwang Minhyun and Kim Jong Hyun already show their potential as actors through their previous projects. They are also consistently building their names in the acting field. Recently, Baekho participated in producing an OST for SBS' "Now, We Are Breaking Up" starring Jang Ki Yong and Song Hye Kyo.
He performed the song "Forevermore" which immediately captured the viewers attention with his amazing voice.
