Fans and supporters have been looking forward to Girls' Generation's Yoona as the clumsy but hard working Nam Da Jung in the new KBS drama "Prime Minister and I".
In a recent interview, Yoona talked about her character. She said, "Although I've had similar innocent characters in the past, Nam Da Jung can be really loud and carefree, so I'm acting without trying to look pretty. It was difficult at first, but since she and I have a lot in common, I'd like to act naturally for the role."
On her leading man Lee Bum Soo, the Prime Minster, she shared, "He looked serious at first glance, but he turned out to be very humorous. He talks to me a lot and I feel comfortable around him, despite our age gap. It's an honor to act alongside my senior."
"Please anticipate the new drama "Prime Minster and I" and spread it through word of mouth. It is a warm and cheerful drama perfect for the Christmas season this winter," she concluded.
Meanwhile, several BTS photos of Yoona and Lee Bum Soo have been released, and the pictures show their different personalities as a reporter and a prime minister. A second teaser video was also posted, and this time, it features Yoona as her day as a journalist begins.
"Prime Minister and I" airs on December 9 following the conclusion of "Future's Choice".
