The movie "A Moment to Remember," starring Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin, made the viewers cry buckets with its heart-wrenching scenes between Kim Soo Jin and Choi Chul Soo. Helmed by the sought-after director John H. Lee, the 2004 melodrama follows the journey of the main characters' against all odds romance.
In the film, Kim Soo Jin, played by the "Crash Landing on You" star, came from a wealthy family whose business revolves around construction.
Meanwhile, Choi Chul Soo, portrayed by the actor-producer, dreams of becoming an architect but ends up being a foreman at Kim Soo Jin's family construction.
After a series of accidental encounters and starting on the wrong foot, Soo Jin saw a different side of Chul Soo. Behind his tough and blunt persona is a gentle and kind man, making her fall in love with him.
Unfortunately, shortly after they got married, she discovered she has Alzheimer's disease.
"A Moment to Remember" illustrates the struggle of their marriage after finding out about her illness.
