Kang Ha Neul will fascinate viewers with his charm and comedic side in the upcoming episode of Coupang Play's "SNL Korea Season 2."

Set to air on January 15, the award-winning actor will bring his pleasant energy on the set as he relieves his character, Police Officer ​​Hwang Yong Shik, in "When the Camellia Blooms."

Donning the officer's uniform, the South Korean star will bring laughter as he transforms as the local police officer in a parodied version of "When the Camellia Blooms" and reenact some of the iconic scenes in the KBS series.

To recall, Kang Ha Neul won his first-ever Baeksang Arts Awards after scoring the Best Actor category for his impressive performance in the thriller rom-com series.

Apart from it, the 31-year-old actor is set to perform a parodied skit of the 2012 movie "007 Skyfall," playing the role of James Bond with "SNL Korea 2" mainstay Shin Dong Yeop.

The "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" star will be the fourth host of "SNL Korea" season 2, which will broadcast on January 15 exclusively on Coupang Play.

Kang Ha Neul's Back to Back Movies

Before the year ended, the South Korean actor starred in a back-to-back film.

First is the omnibus-style movie "A Year-End Medley" with the star-studded cast including Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Dong Wook, Han Ji Min, Girls' Generation's YoonA and more.

It follows the story of the people who are connected to Hotel Emross, owned by the "Goblin" star.

In the movie, Kang Ha Neul took on the character of problematic hotel guest Jae Yong, who unexpectedly crossed paths with hotelier Soo Yeon, played by the SNSD member.

Interestingly, Kang Ha Neul welcomed the year with a bang with his new movie "The Pirates: Goblin Flag" alongside Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, Chae Soo Bin, Oh Se Hun and Kwon Sang Woo as lead stars.

In the much-awaited sequel of "The Pirates," the award-winning actor took on the role of bandit leader Woo Moo Chi, who claims to be the dynasty's top swordsman.

Kang Ha Neul ditched his boy-next-door visuals and looked unrecognizable with his long frizzy hair.

Meanwhile, "The Pirates: Goblin Flag" director Kim Jung Hoon praised the 31-year-old actor for his stellar performance and dedication to play the character of con artist Woo Moo Chi.

Kang Ha Neul to Appear Alongside' Squid Game' Villain Heo Sung Tae in a New Drama

The South Korean star is definitely booked and busy this 2022 as he is set to headline a new action suspense Kdrama "Insider" with "Squid Game" actor Heo Sung Tae.

According to outlets, Kang Ha Neul confirmed his appearance and will play judicial trainee Kim Yo Han while Heo Seung Tae will act as chief prosecutor Yoon Byung Wook.
