Currently, KD is headlining the romance-comedy and action K-Drama "Rookie Cops" which premiered on January 26. He plays the role of Wi Seung Hyun, a freshman student who entered the Korea National Police University (KNPU) to follow in the footsteps of his father.
The "Produce 101" winner shared in the drama's press conference that even though it was his first drama lead role, he was grateful to have met his co-stars Chae Soo Bin, Lee Shin Young, Park Yoo Na, and more, for they guided him during filming sessions and already built friendship with them.
Furthermore, "Rookie Cops" can be streamed on Disney+ Korea every Wednesday.
