The cold energy between Lee Jae Ryong and Cha Hwa Yeon started to take over the set.
On the 36th episode of MBC daily historical drama "Soo Baek Hyang" broadcast on November 21st, Moo Ryung (played by Lee Jae Ryong) and Do Rim (played by Cha Wha Yeon) run into each other.
After Kokuryo attacks Baekjae, Mooryung and his civil servants wonder what to do about this problem. At this, Mooryung calls in Do Rim who used to be the spy of Kokuryo and who knows Kokuryo the best.
Nae Sook (played by Jung Sung Mo) was extremely surprised as Mooryung looked for Do Rim. Do Rim who was the spy of Kokuryo was the person who made Mooryong's father King Kaero die due to the sly trickery of the Koruryo army. Mooryung's anger was to an extent where even the name of Do Rim was off limits for decades. However, he didn't execute him and left him alive as curiosity heightened.
Recently, these scenes were filmed at the Ilsan dream center set of MBC and there were chills on the set. Mooryung's face was solid with anger and Dorim said hello with a shaky voice as he bowed down to Mooryung. The crown prince Myung Nong (played by Jo Hyun Jae) looked at the two carefully.
According to drama staff, Lee Jae Ryong and Cha Wha Yeon went through four pages of script with no problem. They were talking in a softer voice but as the conversation went on, the staff was silent and had to look at them. It was a long scene but the two people went through it without any bad cuts and got an OK in one shot as the staff on scene applauded them.
