Girls' Generation's Yoona shows her determination by going through trash and riding a scooter for her new drama "Prime Minister and I".
In the first set of still cuts, Yoona, who plays the role of rookie reporter Nam Da Jung, is seen digging through Prime Minister Kwon Yool's trash bin in hopes of finding something news worthy. Incidentally, the elite government employee Kang In Ho, who is portrayed by Yoon Shi Yoon, sees what she is doing, but despite the fact that she is doing something illegal, he observes her curiously.
According to drama representatives, "During filming, Yoona really did go through a garbage can, giving a more hilarious but realistic scenario. In the future, there will be more interesting and comedic scenes similar to Yoona's meeting with Yoon Shi Yoon in a trash can, so please look forward to the drama."
The next set of photos show Yoona riding a small blue scooter for her work. The scooter is her character's favorite item, so much so that she likens it to having a relationship with someone. Yoona reportedly practiced hard in learning how to ride the scooter prior to filming.
It was reported that when they were filming the scene near a school, the student populace went out to cheer her on. Many students were calling for Yoona's attention, and like the friendly person that she is, she yelled back that they should go back to class and study.
Catch Yoona on "Prime Minister And I" which premieres on December 9.
