Kim Hye Yoon's Arm Tattoo Signals Thrilling Role
Different from her previous bubbly characters, Kim Hye Yoon will have a major character transformation in her forthcoming movie "The Girl in the Bulldozer."
The "Extraordinary You" lead star will have her first movie lead role in the film. She will immerse herself in the character of Hye Young, a girl with a dragon tattoo who drives a bulldozer.
A 19-year-old troublemaker, Hye Young lives with her father Gu Bon Jin (Park Hyuk Kwon) and a younger sibling. They run a Chinese restaurant. One day, her father gets entangled in a mysterious accident, which leads him to a coma. Hye Young and her sibling are left alone to manage things on their own.
To know the truth behind the incident, Hye Young seeks revenge for her father and looks for evidence about the culprit.

Meanwhile, Kim Hye Yoon gave life to her character more effectively as she even drove a real bulldozer while filming the movie.
'The Girl on the Bulldozer' is Based on a True Events
Park Hyuk Kwon, Oh Man Seok, and Super Junior's Yesung are also confirmed to join Kim Hye Yoon in the project.
"The Girl on the Bulldozer" is Park Yi Woong's directorial debut film. He is also the one who penned the script, which is inspired by a true story of those people who drove heavy equipment into a government office.
The film was screened in the "Korea Cinema Today - Panorama" at the previous 26th Busan International Film Festival. Kim Hye Yoon's first feature film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas this coming April.
Kim Hye Yoon began to receive recognition in 2018 when she made an epic performance in the popular Kdrama "SKY Castle." Due to her outstanding acting, she was able to bag the Best Actress Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards in the TV Category.
Afterward, she aced her three roles in the fantasy-romance series "Extraordinary You." She proved again her skills with another drama lead role in tvN's "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy," alongside 2PM member and actor Ok Taecyeon.
In 2021, she starred alongside BLACKPINK Jisoo, Jung Hae In and Kim Min Gyu in the tragedy romance JTBC drama "Snowdrop."
