Another month means another set of new K-contents airing on Netflix.
From the highly anticipated sequel to our favorite South Korean stars gracing new projects, here's a rundown of upcoming K-dramas and movies premiering this March 2022 alongside ongoing series that got all fans hooked.
'The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure'
Also known as "The Pirates 2," the much-awaited sequel boasts a star-studded cast including Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, EXO's Sehun, Chase Soo Bin, Kwon Sang Woo and more.
Initially released in theaters on January 26, the historical adventure movie achieved the same success as the first installment after being hailed as the first Korean Film of 2022 to surpass 1 million moviegoers.
With only nine days since it debuted, "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" dominated the charts despite strict restrictions and many foreign competitors.

Due to the movie's impressive achievement, Netflix confirmed on February 24 that "The Pirates 2" will also air on the streaming giant starting March 2.
Interestingly, the said film is Netflix's first K- movie to be distributed worldwide.
It is predicted that the movie's popularity will reach greater heights as the streaming giant revealed that it would be released simultaneously in over 190 countries, with 8 languages for dubbing and 31 languages for subtitles.
'Tomorrow'
As mentioned, Netflix will be featuring more fantasy-based K-contents this month.
Apart from "The Pirates" sequel, "Tomorrow" starring Kim Hee Sun, Lee Soo Hyuk, SF9's Rowoon, and Yoon Ji On will headline the upcoming series.
Helmed by "The New Trial" and "Mr.Zoo: The Missing VIP" director Kim Tae Yoon, the action-fantasy K-drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.
It focuses on Choi Joon Woong's (SF9's Rowoon) journey as one of the angels of death.
He will join the team of Kim Hee Sun, who took the role of the cold grim reaper Goo Ryun while Lee Soo Hyuk will be the Guiding Management Team's elite leader Park Joong Gil.
"Tomorrow" release date on Netflix is scheduled on March 25, airing every Friday and Saturday.
Ongoing K-Dramas: 'Thirty-Nine'
Apart from new K-contents, ongoing K-dramas like "Thirty-Nine" are making huge success given the series gives off a slice-of-life drama.
Airing every Wednesday and Thursday, viewers are hooked with the genuine friendship between head dermatologist Cha Mi Ji (Son Ye Jin,) acting teacher Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do) and cosmetics manager Jang Joo Hee (Kim Ji Hyun.)
Aside from friendship, it also illustrates the trio's journey towards finding love and dealing with unexpected situations as they turn 40.
'Thirty-Nine" episode 5 is set to air on March 2.
'Twenty-Five Twenty-One'
From slice-of-life to coming of age, "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" feels like a trip down memory lane featuring the budding romance of Na Do Hee (Kim Tae Ri) and Baek Yi Jin (Nam Joo Hyuk.)
Set in the late 90s, the weekend series focuses on the young couple's lost love and made way to each other's hearts after five years.
"Twenty-Five Twenty-One" episode 5 is scheduled to air on February 26.
