Jung Kyung Ho might return to the small screen with Jeon Do Yeon in a new drama, "One Shot Scandal."

Following the triumphant success of "Hospital Playlist," fans would get to see the versatile star portray another interesting character.

Jung Kyung Ho to Star in Rom-Com K-drama With Jeon Do Yeon

According to Dispatch, the 38-year-old is courted to star alongside Jeon Do Yeon in a rom-com series.

The media outlet shared that Jung Kyung Ho is "positively reviewing" the offer. The same goes for the "Lost" actress who was offered to play the female lead.

Although the industry representatives did not give further details as to what roles they will portray, this raises expectations with their on-screen chemistry. Both stars always provide a stellar performance.

Aside from the exciting lineup of lead stars, "One Shot Scandal" also boasts a powerhouse team.

The upcoming rom-com is penned by "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" writer Yang Hee Seung. It is directed by Yoo Je Won, the person behind blockbuster series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "The King: Eternal Monarch," and "Hi Bye, Mama!"

Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon's possible K-drama will start filming this summer.

"One Shot Scandal" will be the actress' return to tvN after six years since "The Good Wife" aired in 2016.

Moreover, if Jeon Do Yeon accepts the offer, this will mark her comeback to the rom-com genre after 17 years. Her last drama "Lovers in Prague" was released back in 2005.

As for Jung Kyung Ho, "One Shot Scandal" will be his next project after the tvN medical K-drama "Hospital Playlist." He played the grumpy associate professor of cardiothoracic surgery, Kim Jun Wan.

Viewers witness the intense synergy of the 99ers, which includes Jo Jung Suk as Lee Ik Jun, Jeon Mi Do, who plays skilled neurosurgeon Chae Song Hwa, Kim Dae Myung as Yang Suk Hyung, and Yoo Yeon Seok as the secretive pediatric surgeon Ahn Jung Won.

"Hospital Playlist" director Shin Won Ho previously shared that the beloved medical K-drama is unlikely to return for season 3.

However, as cited by Sports Chosun, he gave fans hope that if ever the third installment will push through, "there are still a lot of stories left to tell about the patients and their guardians," as well as the stories of the five doctors and their daily lives.

While the viewers wait for the official announcement, the cast gets reunited in a tv show, "Three Meals a Day: Doctors," alongside their "Hospital Playlist co-stars as their guests.

Currently, the lead stars are on with their respective shows like Jeon Mi Do, who is headlining the cast of "Thirty-Nine."

As for Jung Kyung Ho, he is in talks to star in the new film "Apgujeong Report" with Oh Na Ra and "Marvel" actor Ma Dong Seok.

The upcoming drama movie will be his return to the big screen after the 2020 film "Daemuga: Sorrow and Joy."
