To recall, he is Cho Yi Hyun's co-star in "All of Us Are Dead," where he played the role of detective Song Jae Ik.

The 22-year-old actress recently received overwhelming praise from the public after landing the role of Hyosan High School's class president Choi Nam Ra in "All of Us Are Dead."

Cho Yi Hyun delivered a stunning performance playing the straightforward and badass "hambie," also known as half-human and half-zombie.

During her interview with iMBC, the actress revealed how she studied for her role. The rising star mentioned that she took inspiration from the 2008 Hollywood film "Twilight" which stars Kristen Stewart and Edward Pattinson.

Moreover, she admitted that starring in the Netflix series was quite challenging for her since this was the first time playing a zombie role.

As some K-drama fans would know, Cho Yi Hyun also joined the cast of "Hospital Playlist" season 1 and 2, where she played medical intern Jang Yoon Bok, followed by a lead role in "School 2021."

However, the K-zombie series catapulted her to stardom, making her one of the rising stars in K-drama.

In the same interview, Cho Yi Hyun also shared her thoughts regarding her newfound popularity.

The actress explained that she feels "amazed and slightly pressured by all the sudden interest and love," but despite these, she says she is the "type of person who tries to stay calm and not get over-excited."

It seems like 2022 is the year for Cho Yi Hyun after she is courted as a lead star in the upcoming K-drama "Vampire Chef."

On March 10, Osen cited that her agency, Artist Company, shared that the actress has received an offer to star in the webtoon-based series and is "one of the works that have been proposed" for Cho Yu Hyun; however, everything is still "under discussion."
