Nam Yoon Su will be Kim Sejeong's leading man in SBS's upcoming K-drama "Today's Webtoon."

After months of discussion, his talent label, Agency Garten, confirmed that the 24-year-old actor would be teaming up with the "A Business Proposal" star for an upcoming business comedy-themed series.

Nam Yoon Su Confirmed to Join Kim Sejeong in 'Today's Webtoon'

According to a Korean media outlet, Nam Yoon Su's agency announced that he would appear in the upcoming series and play Goo Jun Yeong's role.

To recall, Na In Woo was initially chosen as Kim Sejeong's male lead for "Today's Webtoon" but had to decline the offer due to schedule conflicts.

With the new male lead, viewers will get to see Nam Yoon Su's on-screen chemistry with the 25-year-old actress. She plays rookie contract employee On Ma Eum.

Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su's new drama is based on the 2016 popular Japanese drama "Sleepeeer Hit!"

It depicts the story of a woman named On Ma Eum, who was forced to give up her athletic career as a judo player after being involved in an unfortunate accident during her match.

Deciding to continue her life through a different path, she joins the webtoon editorial department. Unfortunately, she struggled to cope with her new environment as an actual webtoon editor.

Following the confirmation of lead stars, "Today's Webtoon" aims to broadcast in the second half of 2022.

Nam Yoon Su's Multiple Projects this 2022

Debuting in 2018, Na Yoon Su showed off his flexibility as an actor after captivating fans with his stellar performance in Netflix "Extracurricular." He got his first-ever Baeksang Arts Awards nomination for Best New Actor.

Since then, he continued to show the public his undeniable charm and talent after landing the role in "Beyond Evil" and his recent K-drama "The King's Affection" with SF9's Rowoon and Park Eun Bin.

Interestingly, aside from his new drama "Today's Webtoon," Nam Yoon Su was confirmed to headline the cast of the upcoming Kakao TV drama "Borrowed Body."

The webtoon-based K-drama is a fantasy mystery school romance that follows the story of two students who were caught up in a bizarre incident.

Lee Sang Yoo, played by Nam Yoon Su, is an outsider and the most hated person in the campus after he was falsely accused of something.

Meanwhile, female lead Park Hae Eun is the total opposite of Lee Sang Yoo. She is well-loved by the students and possesses good standing in sports and academics.

Following the confirmation of his new role, Nam Yoon Su talked about how thrilled he is about his upcoming project, especially since the webtoon-based drama has a massive fandom.

According to Newsen, the actor promised to do his best to "show the growth of Lee Sang Yoo."
