Movie 'Brave Citizen' Starring Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Young Concludes Filming

According to a K-media report on April 10, Wavve's original movie "Brave Citizen" concluded production last April 5 after almost three months of filming.

The story revolves around So Shi Min, played by Shin Hye Sun. She is a former boxing star but ends up as a teacher after facing injustice that she has to endure to become a full-time teacher.

"Brave Citizen" is adapted from the Naver Webtoon of the same name, which received favorable reviews from readers and has a rating of 9.8. In the released photos provided by Wavve, the "Mr. Queen" actress alongside Lee Jun Young posed together showing their adorable friendship.

On the other hand, Lee Jun Young, who imprinted his extraordinary presence in Netflix's "Love and Leashes" and "D.P." will portray the role of Han Soo Gang, a fearless student, who confronts So Shi Min and will transform into a villain character.

In addition, director Park Jin Pyo, who has shown solid directing skills in different movie genres, and writers Yeo Ji Na and Hyun Choong Yeol teamed up to provide a thrilling-fun film for the viewers.

Shin Hye Sun said every filming site was a new challenge and experience for her. Every work is meaningful to her just like "Brave Citizen," saying it would not be easy for her to let go of her character in the movie.

Her co-star, Lee Jun Young shared, "It was a shoot where I learned a lot from the director and everyone in the field. I am curious about what kind of work it will be, and I hope it will be a special work for the audience."

Meanwhile, director Park Jin Pyo said that "Brave Citizen" is a movie that contains the passion and sincerity of all the actors and staff.

Furthermore, the film is slated to premiere in theaters and Wavve once the post-production has already finished its work process.

Apart from the movie, Shin Hye Sun is also in talks to star in two dramas "Wax Doll" and "See You in My 19th Life."
