Most K-drama fans are very vocal and never shy away from expressing their love for their beloved South Korean stars.

Whether it is on social media or hyping up their newest series, fans make sure that their beloved celebrities would feel their support.

Unfortunately, some go overboard and turn admiration into obsession.

In Korea, obsessed fans are also known as "sasaeng," stalk by invading celebrities' privacy.

Here is a list of Korean celebrities who were once victimized by obsessed fans.

Recently, a 47-year-old woman was arrested by Seoul's Yongsan district police after harassing Rain and Kim Tae Hee's home.

It was RAIN who reportedly called the police after the woman rang the couple's doorbell several times.

Luckily, she was arrested on the spot after the singer-actor called for help.

According to reports, the 47-year-old fan has been doing things like this since 2021. The authorities have received around 112 reports with the same complaint.

Choi Siwon

From stalker to a hacker, obsessed fans managed to get into Choi Siwon's social media account and hacked his Twitter account.

It was in early 2012, during the heydays of Twitter, where everyone stayed active, especially the Super Junior member.

Sensing that someone was trying to get into his account, he posted a warning on his personal Twitter, hinting about love and obsession.

"Real love is when you understand the person and are caring. Love is not when you invade someone's privacy and spy on them. Please do not hack my account again. Please," the "Work Later, Drink Now" posted.

In 2012, reports noted that Kim Yoo Jung almost got kidnapped by a sasaeng fan.

At the time, the actress revealed that the person pretended to be her father.

Moreover, the actress detailed that she was an elementary student at the time and a strange man who claimed to be his father came to pick her up at school.

Ok Taecyeon

The 2PM member also became a target of obsessed fans.

In 2014, Ok Taecyeon posted a warning on his Twitter account, notifying his scary encounter with obsessed fans.

At the time, he shared a message which read, "Do you really have to follow me in my private time, take pictures and post them?" he wrote.

Moreover, the singer-actor mentioned that he did not want to change his phone number but did not "welcome constant annoyance" from the mysterious person.
