Wi Ha Joon Shares Why He's Anxious With 'Squid Game' Massive Success
Wi Ha Joon flaunted his charisma in a photo shoot for the May issue of Dazed Korea magazine. He also talked about his philosophies and honest feelings on his successful drama "Squid Game."
The "Squid Game" star flaunted his visuals as he's fully clad with the latest collection from Burberry.
In many photos, he shows off his guns in a sleeveless zip-up jacket, paired with black nose bridge cufess, hoop earrings and a lip ring. He also rocks printed tees and lambskin bags, all curated by the brand.
Wi Ha Joon is aware of the fact that fame and popularity can sweep out as easy as it swept in in just a blink of an eye. Due to this, his parents instilled the humbleness and down-to-earth mindset to the star since he was a child.
Because of this, Wi Ha Joon can't help fully enjoy the massive success of "Squid Game," which became a sensation in 2021.
"A part of me was delighted when 'Squid Game' received recognition and popularity. However, a part of me also became anxious," Wi Ha Joon admitted.
"People around me scolded me and told me to at least savor the moment and not feel down," the actor added with a laugh.
He also confessed that he's the type to be hard on himself rather than become endlessly loving.
Wi Ha Joon began his career with minor roles, so when fans took interest in him, he reminded himself to "not be happy one day and be sad."

The "Squid Game" star gives importance to consistency and becoming better as an actor, in order to be a relevant star rather than a one-hit wonder that's quickly forgotten.
He concluded, "I will continue to improve myself and never be too complacent, in order to meet fans with better work and performances."
