Netflix Korea's upcoming heist series "Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area" released its official trailer ahead of its June premiere!
The drama, like the original Spanish series, centers around the group of a genius strategist and top class thieves who are planning to pull off the biggest heist in the Korean Peninsula.
It portrays the unexpected twists and turns of life as the gang executes a huge scale hostage.
Yoo Ji Tae stars as the Professor while actors Kim Yun Jin, Jeon Jong Seo, Park Hae Soo, Lee Won Jong, Kim Ji Hoon, Jang Yoon Ju, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Hoon and Lee Kyu Ho make up the gang.
The newly released teaser begins with a huge gang of robbers looking for a large sum of money in order to execute a bigger crime.
South and North Korea reunify and build an economic community that prints common currency. Harmony and peace were expected when the two nations declared the end of war, but things went south.
Robbers including Yoo Ji Tae as the mastermind, as well as his gang Kim Yun Jin, Jeon Jong Seo, Park Hae Soo and more devise a plan to snag the highest amount of money in history. It will shock not only the country but the world.
To hide their identities, they sport spine-chilling, tacky Hahoe masks and red jumpsuits. Like in the original series, negotiations were made to appease them.
The South Korean negotiating expert Seon Woo Jin (Kim Yun Jin) and North Korean special agent Cha Mu Hyuk (Kim Seong Oh) form a central inter-Korean response team.
